Sports facilities, accommodation and transport
The sports facilities where the competitions take place are located from Ponente to Levante, all over the city and selected so as to involve the suburbs as well. We have chosen facilities that are ideal locations for sports that guarantee our athletes can compete safely and at the same time immerse themselves in the rhythms of the city. These are well-known facilities that host local sporting events.
The 5-a-side football competitions will take place on outdoor synthetic pitches.
The hotels that will host the arriving delegations are located in various districts of the city of Genoa.
The stay of athletes and accompanying persons will be managed at the available facilities until places are available and taking into account, if possible, the needs communicated during registration
The PGS Village will host the area dedicated to organization and animation activities. Here, moreover, all participants will gather at the end of each day to share dinner.
Transport to/from hotels and sports facilities and to the PGS Village will be by shuttle bus dedicated to the event.

Games are primarily an opportunity for cultural exchange and friendship, as well as a healthy sporting confrontation in the most genuine PGS spirit
The teams from the various countries are invited to bring a gift for the offertory of the Eucharistic Liturgy and the traditional gifts to exchange with the other participating teams
It is therefore necessary for each athlete and each manager to participate in all the moments planned in the programme, including the entertainment, the opening ceremony and the final awards ceremony.
We would like to remind the managers to prepare themselves together with the athletes to live this experience of friendship to the full, engaging in constant dialogue with each interlocutor and overcoming every little unexpected event through a smile and the spirit of collaboration that distinguishes PGS all over the world

Acquario di Genova
Special ticket price (13 euros instead of 31 euros) reserved to event participants.
The reservation must be made directly at the PGSI Village, paying the amount due. The secretariat will make the group reservation by contacting the Acquario di Genova.
It is not possible to take advantage of the promotion directly at the ticket office.
“Genoa by the sea” with Consorzio Liguria Via Mare
Participants showing up at the ticket office (located at Ponte Spinola, next to Acquario di Genova) from 25 to 29 May will be able to see “Genoa from the sea” with the “Tour of the Harbour” at the special price of € 5 (1 free ticket per adult every 10 children/athletes).
To obtain the discount it is necessary to show the official event bracelet: you can find it in the athlete’s bag given to each participant upon arrival at the PGSI Village; alternatively you can show proof of registration.
Departures:
_Mon-Fri 2.15 pm, 5.20 pm, 6.40 pm
Sat and Sun 2 pm, 3.30 pm, 5 pm
The experience lasts 1h 10m and during the tour the main locations of the city and the port visible from the sea are described in Italian, English and German.
It is advisable to arrive at the ticket office well in advance to avoid the risk of the boats being full.
